Where has the term gone????

Ok, so in two days the term ends!

I have a question though, can someone tell me where it has gone? It only seems like yesterday that I walked into a room full of fresh eager faces and now I'm waving them off for a two week break. Not saying we don't deserve or need it!!

Granted we've had swimming lessons, swimming carnivals, a few incursions etc, but where has the time gone? I sat today with colleagues to review our cycle one teaching programs and we all said the same thing, "You'll have to excuse me I'm behind in ........"

I know I'm not alone, but I feel that at the moment with all the extra things we cram in that we may be spreading ourselves too thin. Should we restrict ourselves to a narrower focus or carry on the way we are going?

I do know one thing though, as much as the term has flown by, my class and I have had some great laughs along the way. Surely the fun we have with our classes is reward for what we put in to them. Today we had a good laugh at Ma and Pa Kettle and their maths ability.
