Well, this is a supprise. Last count there were 39 members already and we have only been here a few days. I am also impressed with the diversity of those who have joined. I would like to see all members have some sort of image or avatar of themselves even if it your pet dog. (Don't dogs often reflect their owner?)

I must admit that I am still having fun trying to get the site to do what I want it to but so far I am impressed. For example, I thought I could send a message to all members, or at least all of my "friends". Maybe somebody could tell me how to do it.

I am also looking for someone else to be a manager of the site along with me. If you are interested, please let me know. You will need to be prepared to be on the site reasonably frequently and watch what is going on - we don't want spammers or other idiots spoiling the site for the resposible majority.

I have created a few groups, and congratulate those who have seen a niche that needs to be adressed and created a group. The worst thing that can happen is that no one else joins.

Please go off and invite others to join. I have invited all of the staff of my school (Newman College). If we all did the same thing, what a community we would have. We might even get a bit political (Mike M where are you?)

One other thing I wold like to get out of this site is to use it as a springboard for the four one day events that I would like to see ECAWA present this year (one each term) along with the annual conference.
