Hi Vic,
I've been having a look at the things people want to learn on Saturday and a lot of them seem really interested in the whole creativity aspect so I'm sure they will enjoy your session. I also noticed a comment on the front page of the wiki from Gwen Clunies-Ross saying she would like a session on photoshop or digital technology and displays that uses technology e.g. corelle draw, etc. So I thought I might point her at your session too if that is OK. I know you're doing flash and illustrator but it's kind of related. I think you might find quite a few of the library types will be interested in using tools like illustrator when they are creating library display elements.
Thanks again for volunteering. I really enjoyed your session at the ECAWA unconference, you have a great teaching style.
Those sessions look great, thanks for that! depending on how much prep is required you could always have video stuff up your sleeve to show if they seem receptive, or just mention it at the unconference so people can let you/us know if they would be interested in doing something on that on another occasion. Thanks for doing two sessions - we really appreciate it! :)
Oh, and I haven't said what you are doing, so feel free to decide to put something in or not, according to your whim. I didn't want to nail you down to anything without getting your seal of approval first :)
Sounds great! 28th it is. We'll pop a timetable up on the original unconference wiki soon and you can put yourself in. Tell me more about the video workshop, sounds intriguing...
28th fine with me, morning only on 21st...preference would be an early session in morning (on either days) just in case something else pops up...i have previously presented a video workshop with librarians at one of their conferences if that is an interest for others...
wonderful! we are looking at either the 21st or 28th of june (with a slight preference to the 28th) at the moment, and we want to finalise the date in the next day or two. How do they suit you?
Hi Vic, we're plotting a library focussed 'satellite' unconference, and mum and I were wondering if you would be amenable to joining in and presenting a session. We were so impressed with your fabulous teaching at the ecawa unconference we thought you'd be great to impart some wisdom to the library crowd. We also want to include classroom teachers as well as school library staff because we want to look at ways that the library can support teachers in using web 2.0 stuff in the classroom. What do you think?
