No Vic. I'm back in Geraldton now. It's Lights Beach near Denmark; another beautiful south west place to be. We visited over the Christmas - New Year Break. Wonderful!

Hi Reg,
thanks for inviting me to be a friend - I always enjoy your posts from Geraldton. As a long time Mac user it is always nice to touch base and hear from other Mac-heads who "get it" - why Macs are great and why they work so well in schools. Am hoping to buy a bunch for school with Federal funding (dual booting but will be far easier to support than the usual offerings.)

I am deputy principal at Beachlands Primary School in Geraldton, having a particular interest in enhancing the use of ICT in teaching and learning. Currently I am the school's Science and T&E support teacher.
I am "Ambassador" (co-conspirator more likely) of GMUG, the Geraldton Macintosh User Group. In an earlier life Apple awarded my efforts in education by making me an Apple Educator of Excellence.
When I wear the black embroidered Apple polo shirt to school, my compassionate and caring colleagues suggest I embroidered it myself, and then start discussing what they could embroider on their own!

It's the only good photo I have!

Good man Phil Pound is going to be joining the JWC team up there - which is great for him and the school.
Great number.
Welcome and thanks for the contributions so far.
